Smart Campaigns are groups of messages that send in a sequence. You can also specify message-based rules for messages within a Smart Campaign (for example, only send the second message if the first message has been opened).

When building a smart campaign, you can define when users should enter a campaign and when they should exit it, by using audience filters just like you would with a regular auto message.

You can add up to 30 messages to a Smart Campaign. These can be any combination of in-app and email messages.

As mentioned, you can also set message-based behaviour. For example, you might decide to only send a particular message in the campaign to users who’ve opened the previous message.

You can define spacing for your campaign, too i.e. how long we should wait between each message before sending. You can choose to send messages to users as soon as they match, or wait 1-5 days between each message.
