What oAuth scopes do I need for my Messenger apps?

We won’t ever grant full scopes to any app, for security reasons. The best way to think of the different scopes you might need would be to start with the fewest scopes necessary to get your app working.

If, when it comes to deploying your app to production you realise that you need more scopes, just update your OAuth application and we’ll be happy to look at it for you!
