Can a specific event trigger a custom bot as soon as it is detected ?

Hi,

We created an event called "Analyse_error", in order to detect every time one of our users encounters an error while using our solution. This events is well detected by Intercom and appears in the "rules" that determine when to launch the bot. For example, I can choose to send the bot to every users that encountered an error in the last 2 days.

However, I would like to launch the bot AS SOON AS the user encounters an error. That means, EVERY TIME, and AS SOON AS the event is detected.

How can I do so ?

Thank you for your help.

Hi @marianne m ,

I believe the answer to this question - https://forum.intercom.com/s/question/0D52G00004Q2l5o/how-do-i-set-up-recurring-messages-in-intercom/p>

answers your question as well indirectly.

Hey @marianne m, while @user368 is correct in that it's possible to send recurring messages using our API, it's not yet possible to programatically trigger a custom bot.

The only possible workaround that I can think of here would be to build a "bot from a button", and then programatically force that button click every time the event happens.
