What's the best way to send a follow-up email to a customer, summarising their chat?

I would like to send "recommendation" emails to customers following a chat to summarize the discussion to be kept as a reminder of actions to take. Each customer will have a personalized email, so the design can be a template but not the content.

What would be the best way to achieve this? Can the email be created/sent from Intercom or should I connect with Mailchimp?

Hey @user955

There's a couple of things you could do. It sounds like you'll need to manually enter some content so using Intercom's saved replies would be a start

https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/206-respond-to-customers-faster-with-saved-replies/p>

If you respond to the customer's query from the messenger you can add the saved reply template and fill in the points.

If you are wanting to send an email from the customer or user record in Intercom, you can use Saved Content - https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/3197379-start-new-conversations-with-saved-content/p>

Hope that helps,

Brent

If you're after more of a design, you can also create an email template in Intercom and use that template when you send them an email from the contact record

Thank you..i will apply
