Can I know if user has tapped the send button in the messenger?

Hi,

 

I have integrated intercom in my iOS app. Is it possible to know if user has tapped the send button? PFA

I don't get your question here. If the user clicked on the Send button, you will see Incoming conversation in your Intercom inbox.

Yeah you are right, when user clicks the send button, conversation starts.

 

Additionally at this moment I want my mobile App to record that this user is showing some interest.

 

can app register some callback which would notify the app when user will click send button?

@lujo​ , I still don't get the reason for sending a callback about new conversation but you can set-up webhooks for this.

Actually our backend team is interested to let the agents/admins chat from the salesforce and for that they need to know some information (userid, conversation id etc) from the app that user has actually started the chat.

 

how much it will cost to enable Webhooks? and what are the steps I have to take to make it work, any sample/tutorial available?
