How can I redirect inbound emails to my Intercom workspace?

Hello guys!

Can you advice me with connecting gmail box to intercom?

We want to redirect all emails from gmail to Intercom and appoint it on operator. Additionally, we want to have separator for messages. What will work the best for us?

Hello @marina k​ ,

 

To send inbound e-mails to Intercom, you should set up forwarding rules for that. Here's the step by step guide:

 

1. Find your forwarding e-mail address in Settings -> Outbound -> Email forwarding -> Default inbound address

Settings2. Now go to Gmail settings and set up forwarding Settings -> Forwarding and POP/IMAP -> Add a forwarding address

Forwarding3. Paste your forwarding address here and click the Next button

paste4. Click OK :

okay5. Check your Intercom Inbox to Find the Confirmation code.

gmail6. Paste the following code here:

VerifyCode 

Once you click Verify forwarding will set up and you good to go.
