Can I send Banner messages through the API?

I would like to automate banner messages sent to users. Are there any plans to expose this in the API?

 

My Requirement:

 

When we do an application release, we want to display 3 banners in order:

  1. Tell everyone that is logged in that there is about to be a release in X minutes
  2. Tell everyone that a release is in progress
  3. Tell everyone that a release is done

 

We are using the user interface to do this, but it is quite a manual process which we would like to streamline using the API.

Hey @minesh​, exposing banners to our API would be a feature request for now, and I'm happy to record this in our @Product Wishlist​ group for you 👍

 

However, you can create event-based Banner messages to send Banners every time a specific event is triggered. You can read this guide on how to start created event-based messages (the guide also includes links on how to track events in Intercom if you're not already doing so!)
