Is there a way to disable/extend expiry times on the attachment links, or any workarounds?

I'm trying to get Intercom to forward conversations to Zendesk as tickets.

Both using the ready-made app integration and Zapier, attachments work but they load the attachment content from Intercom's CDN and the link includes an expiry timestamp (e.g. expires=1633516164, which is an unix epoch timestamp). This expiry timestamp only allows viewing the image 30 minutes after.

Is there any way to bypass this limitation? We're not able to bring the Zendesk users to Intercom so that they'd be able to view the conversations there.

Thank you.

Hi @ville 👋

There isn't a way past this limitation, I'm afraid. It was implemented back in April, but I know some other users have been requesting for this time expiry time to be extended too.

Feel free to post on @Product Wishlist to make a feature request! 😊

We'll have to adjust our process to enable the transfer of the attachments - I think we'll have to bring some more users in to the workspace to work around this problem at least for now.

Thank you for your answer, Sinéad!
