Trying to adapt messenger styling/customizing to work with our multiple brand website, but learned that this feature only works based on domain and subdomain basis, is it possible to do it path based? like: https://mysite.com/brand1?

Hey @mikhail c, for multiple brands, the Messenger styling is based on domains and subdomains, not paths. Are you looking to set up all of your brands on paths, or just one?

Hi Eric, not just one but many, like  https://mysite.com/brand1  https://mysite.com/brand2, etc.

for now we set up a subdomain c-name, so we have https://brand1.mysite.comand it works fine, but that doesn't seem like a good scaleable solution

upd.

we falsely thought that redirect from the c-name would work, but it didn't, so we're still looking for a solution.

to recap, we have multiple brands differed on path basis, like https://mysite.com/brandhttps://mysite.com/brand2 and we need to have the ability to customize messenger styles for each of them

Thank you

Hey @eric f11 , i've missed the reply button and responded below. So are there any workarounds of my problem?

Hey @mikhail c, the multi-brand Messenger is only designed to be configured for different sub-domains, and won't work with different branches as you've outlined. The only solution here would be for your team to manually create a custom launcher on each branch. However, these would all launch the same "version" of the Messenger when clicked. I'm afraid that, without hosting each brand on different subdomains, there is no solution available to 100% achieve what you're looking to do.
