iOS push notifications aren't sending on Intercom's Cordova SDK

Hello, I am trying to integrate intercom-cordova plugin to an app. Everything works fine except the push notifications on iOS. When the app starts the pop up for permission is displayed but after that no notifications are received when the app is running on background. I have followed the documentation for setting up everything. Is there something more specific that is not mention there (in the docs) for iOS?

Btw the app is using capacitor but this should not be the problem or I am wrong?

 

Plugin version: 10.2.0

Xcode version: 12.5

iOS version: 14.5

ionic/angular: 5.0.0

capacitor/ios version: 2.4.1
