Sending more than the username to Slack

Is it possible to append user information to the Slack message when a new user is created ?

 

We currently send a notification when a new user signs up. The info that is currently being sent is the user's Name e.g. "John Daniels". While this is great, it's not super informative.

 

It would be great to be able to append info or even change the info (to an email address for example) so we can quickly see who they are linked to etc.

 

Anyone do this already ?

At the moment, we do not offer a way to alter our Slack integration to pass through additional values, such as the email, into the message that's created. I know that some users have been asking for some additional Slack features, so if this is something that you'd like to see implemented in the future, make sure to drop it in our Product Wishlist Group for visibility!
