Trigger for custom form elements.

Hi all,I want to attach a step to the custom dropdown form element. But because it's not an HTML SELECT element (I use ng-select), I can't use standard triggers for tour advance. "Click on the element" is not suitable, because when clicked the user jumps to the next step without possibility to select any dropdown option."Fill in the field" opens dropdown but does not respond to option selection. Plus, options are overlapped by the tour's backdrop."Next or Done button" blocks dropdown at all. User can't interact with it. Is there any standard solution for such custom form elements? Or what would you suggest to me for this case?

Our saas product has dynamic URLs that bring up different results as part of a search. I would like a tour to be dynamic as well.  How can the tour move from page to page? Is it one tour or multiple?

Adding bigger pictures to product tours?

I would love to know how I can add bigger pictures to product tours without the boxes becoming scrolling ones. With any picture + a only few lines of text, the size of messages quickly becomes too 'big' for the message box leading them to become scrolling. I've read the guide below so I understand there are limits to how big a message can be before they become scrolling - but just now I've also seen a tour on another app where the image seems to be quite a bit larger than what's described in the guide. How did they do that? Is it possible to tag automatically everyone who complete the product tour?

Hi there!  We're wondering are we able to tag automatically everyone who a) start product tour and b) complete product tour? Or is the only way to tag these customers to do it manually (based on this article: https://www.intercom.com/help/en/articles/3027087-see-how-your-product-tours-are-performing ? We'd like to show another product tour to the customers who have completed the previous product tour as they log in next time. If the automated tagging isn't possible is there another identification data which will be saved by the users and which could be use for this purpose?

Product tour does not launch via banner

Hello !! We've created a banner with a link to a product tour. When the banner pops up, we click on the link, a new tab opens up with the right url with the right product tour ID in it, but the product tour does not launch. Have you any idea on why it is so? Thanks a lot!BestHélène

Multiple form fill outs

Is it possible to allow a tour to allow multiple forms to be filled out in a single step? For example, we want to use a tour to review our new widget setup functionality and there are 3 total fields that need to be filled out (two drop downs and a form field) but the tour does not recognize the drop down fields and if I select the last field that is a standard form field you can only fill out that field. Ultimately I'd like a contact to be able to fill out all of those fields and then click next to advance both the product tour and our wizard (which will not advance if everything is not filled out).

Product tours does not launch automatically when using the "Use your tour everywhere" link

I've double checked the "Show my tour automatically" settings and still. The tours only launch from the in-app chat, this is the only consistent place that launches the tours. I have adjusted all aspects of my product tour and it still won't launch, anyone else experiencing this issue? P.s - I've made four tours so far and all of them have this issue.

Why does my Product Tour not move between pages when previewing?

In case the pointer for the next step in the tour is on a page different than the pointer for the previous step, while previewing the tour does not move to the that different page and shows the pointer for the next step on the same page. Is this a limitation within intercom or does it have something to do with how the pointers are set up?

I have an urgent question: I'm trying to use a button in our app to trigger a product tour. Does the engineer redirect to the "Use Your Tour Everywhere" link? does it open a new browser tab?Or is there another way to use a button to trigger tour?

Is it possible to have product tours without supporting messenger/chat functionality on certain environment?

On a specific environment we would like to use intercom for product tours, but we don't want that users on that environment have ability to use messenger. Reason for that is that on certain environment there is different support team that users should interact with if they encounter problems. So we are not in charge of support process in that environment but we would like to use product tours for our product there as well. What would you suggest in that case? Thanks

How to set up Product Tour on app that loads in new tab?

Context: we already use Intercom Chat in-app and that works just fine. I'm trying to create a Product Tour. To launch the builder, I enter the URL. We're a Shopify Sales Channel, so putting the URL in launches the Shopify login screen. I log in, navigate down to Sales Channels, and then click our app — all while staying in the iframe that Intercom pops up. Here's where things break down. When I click to launch our app, it always opens in a new tab. That new tab comes through on my full browser and not the iframe from Intercom. I can't replace the URL in the iframe to be my app. Shopify doesn't let me right-click and choose to open our app in the current tab. I've checked that the app_id lines up between Intercom and our Product — it does. So, I'm stuck. How can I "force" the Product Tour builder to load when I can't get access it via the iframe? I appreciate any and all guidance here — thank you.

If I design a product tour on our staging website, how do I translate it to be set live in the production website?

I plan to design the product tours on our staging website and set it live in production altogether with the next push. How do I do it so the tours I create on the staging won't go to waste?For context, we only have the Intercom installed in the staging; I'd like to start creating the tours so that everything is correct and ready when it's go-time.Thank you in advance

Are tours only counted when fully completed, or just anytime they are triggered?

By "counted" I mean... In these Tour stats, does "Views" count when the tour is first triggered, even when the user does not go all the way through? And does "Completed" only count when every step in the tour is viewed? On the User detail screen, does the tour get listed there when it is triggered and the first step viewed or only if all steps are viewed.

I know the obvious answer is the &quot;Launch Automatically feature&quot;, but that only works for &quot;Part 1&quot; of my tour. I have a 5-part Tour series, and I want to give users the ability to self-serve from 1 to 2 to 3, etc. At the end of Tour 1, I have a &quot;What&#39;s Next? Go to Tour 2&quot; with a hyperlink for Tour 2. However, I want to simply launch the tour on the URL the user currently sits on. Is there a way to reference &quot;Current URL&quot; in the list of Intercom attributes? If not, how might I go about this?

Can someone help us set up Product Tours for customer onboarding?

We are looking for a person or company that could provide services in the setup and implementation of a world-class customer onboard experience using the Intercom Product Tour product. We currently use the Support and Marketing products are well. We will be launching a new product in the Work Management space in the upcoming weeks and are ready to hire a resource now. The name of our company is SmartSuite, but we have not yet released any information publically as we tried to be very quiet about what we have been working on for the past 2 1/2 years.I am happy to provide more details to anyone that would like to propose on this work. Is it possible to choose between multiple tours that match in the same url depending on some data from my app?

To put you in context, we have an app where we want to show an onboarding tour the first time the user enters, but this user could be type A or type B, so depending on which is the type of the user, we want to load the Tour A or Tour B. How could we handle this? Thanks a lot! :)

Why are the page rules for our Product Tour not working?

We have been building out Product Tours to give our customers a full onboarding tour through our software. To initiate the tours in the right place, we have used a lot of &#39;current page rules&#39;. However, they do not want: the tours are not triggered at all. To provide you with a little more detail, our tours should trigger on each new URL that ends with a specific parameter. This tour should then be shown once to this user. Although the preview within the Intercom interface works fine, and some older tours do too, these new ones are never triggered. An example can be found in the screenshot.

Can I select CSS classes within an iframe when designing a Product Tour?

When designing a product tour using Intercom, I have found that CSS classes and ID&#39;s for elements contained within an iframe are not visible to the tour bot. I have tried using the advanced css ID callout in the product tour but to no avail. Please help!

Getting the product tour on the right URL

Hey, I&#39;m creating an onboarding tour for our app that&#39;s scheduled for when a user creates an account and logs on to their company dashboard for the first time.I have a rule saying that a user needs to have &quot;/company/&quot; in the URL to launch the tour however when I preview the tour it starts at sign-in and not on the dashboard.I&#39;ve attached what happens. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to ensure that this doesn&#39;t happen?

Hey there, I am making some product tours, but I can&#39;t set them live. The product displays a message saying that I need to fix issues in &quot;create tours.&quot;. All my connectors seem fine. But, I don&#39;t know what could be the source of the problem.
