Intercom widget crashes after 'shutdown'

Hi all!I use the intercom web version.After the user logs out of my application, I clear the session using the native Intercom('shutdown') method. Then I initialize a new session with the native method Intercom('boot', { app_id: 'my-app-id' }). The intercom widget appears. After a few seconds, it disappears with an error in the console.What am I doing wrong?

What could be the actual login flow: The activity_type shows admin_away_mode_change and then admin_login_success?

Hi Intercom Team, I want to understand the user’s Intercom Login flow. The purpose of this analysis is to capture User’s active hours in Intercom by analysing activity_type and timestamp.So far, the normal login flow is 1) admin_unauthorized_sign_in_method 2) admin_login_success , and when user changes to away mode then it shows 3) admin_away_mode_change  However, I found some cases that admin_login_success shows up again after admin_away_mode_change.  Question: What could be the possible scenario of this?  Thank you in advance Yoon

Hi I'm new here. I have set up Intercom native integration with WhatsApp and can't find a way to send outbound WhatsApp messages to my existing contacts. Is this a feature available? Or do we need to work with Octopods?

Android SDK Push Notification Not received when App is in Foreground

How to add Salesforce Opportunity Lookup in the Custom Case Form?

We’ve installed Salesforce App in our Intercom and have created a custom form so that users can create cases from Inbox. However here we’re facing a difficulty as we  need to tag an opportunity lookup as well while creating a case in our Salesforce org. But in the custom case form , only text and picklists are available, not able to add lookup. Please help in identifying an option to fetch and add opportunity lookup as well.

How to create Hubspot tasks from an intercom series?

In our auto-onboarding series unresponsive users get tagged with ‘unresponsive’. We want to contact these customers by phone. Can a Hubspot task be created (e.g. call customer) on a company level once the company got tagged as ‘unresponsive’? Any experience between Hubspot tasks and Intercom would be really appreaciated!

GA4 Intercom Event Names follow Incorrect Naming Convention

The Google Analytics Events that fire from Intercom don’t follow the proper Google Analytics 4 proper naming convention since they included spaces.  Don't use spaces. This creates issues especially for the Provided Email Address since it’s a common Conversion Event. It breaks when you try to call any of these events via API’s from Google Analytics 4.

HiI’m currently showing Intercom articles on my website through the API to have more control on the styling and user experience and I would like to add or integrate the reactions feature to have feedback on the articles.I visited the documentation but I don’t see any reference to the reactions. Linking different Salesforce Orgs in different Workspaces

In our work intercom connection, we’ve 2 workspaces - 1 prod and 1 for dev. Currently when we create new Salesforce case from intercom from both workspaces, it is getting reflected in our Salesforce Prodction Org. We need to change the connection for dev workspace to Sandbox Salesforce Org. But we’re not seeing any option to change the Org in Salesforce app in Intercom, need assistance.

loginUser fails with "400 user already exists"

Hello, It seems we cannot reliably use Intercom on iOS due to an API error. We are trying to identify a customer with a uuid, email, and identity hash (derived from the uuid). Our integration was working until we upgraded to the 14 SDK. Now everytime we call either loginUser or updateUser we receive a “400 user already exists” error message. This happens for some users and not others, but is resulting in production customers not being identified.

Trigger custom bot from app?

Hey all! I have a an app that I built and I want to trigger a custom bot from the app. For example, the app will respond to the user but if the app gets confused or doesn’t know how to proceed, we want to trigger a custom bot that collects the user’s email (just an example) Basically, I want to be able to arbitrarily trigger a custom bot from an app. Some ideas I had:Have the app say something like “We’ll look into that” and have the custom bot search for that exact string. I couldn’t figure out a way to have the custom bot “search” for that string Have the custom bot search for specific strings like “I want to talk to a human”. It’s not super robust since we have to search for a lot of keywords.Any other ideas? Thanks!

Intercom crashes once launch chat

My app is live and well working on devices. Recently, I found that PlayStore strip resource based on density of devices and generate apps for different screen size of devices. Thus, there are many devices which my app is not working and crashed on loading some resources. Is there a way to Identify which bot drove a lead/opp within Salesforce?

I need help attributing which custom bots / series drove salesforce leads/opps to measure full funnel performance. I know you are able to update lead source but we are unable to change that field to be anything beyond “chat” as it will break out full-funnel attribution dashboards. In an ideal state  - I’d like to map a conversation attribute (that would be unique at the bot level) which we would sync into the lead-source detail within Salesforce. I’ve tried this, but it does not appear its possible to map conversation attributes at this time.Would appreciate any ideas as to how we can track this with these limitations.

Has anyone integrated Zoom Phone dialer within Intercom?

Hi There, We have just moved across to Zoom Phone for outbound calling and we do occasional outbound calls to customers and want to do it from within Intercom. Has anyone successfully use the Zoom Phone Smart Embed app to build a simple embedded dialer within Intercom?Or any other way to make it possible to call from within Intercom using Zoom Phone would work as well of course. Unfortunately Intercom cannot store the tel: string in the phone number attribute, which is pretty strange!! Or even better it should automatically add it to all phone attributes, then you could use any dialer of choice. Thanks,Jens

background-blend-mode is not working.

Hi team, recently I found that background-blend-mode is not working when creating email template.it seems acceptable styling when itself creating, but, after saving the template, background-blend-mode section is automatically removed. I tried !important but it also not working. Anyone please clearly answer how I can use background-blend-mode?

Lightweight Bulk Company Attaching using API/NodeJS

Hello I need help iterating through and attaching contacts to a defined company.I can do this by manually calling the API but need to iterate through an away.I found https://github.com/intercom/intercom-node but am having problems properly configuring.  Once Configured I’d be able to pull list of users that have current segment and pass them through attaching a company. Any help configuring/walking through basics of the intercom-node library would be very helpful.

Do the custom attribute key-value pairs go in window.Intercom or window.intercomSettings snippet? In one part of the documentation it shows it going in one and then in another section it shows it going in the other.
